ABOUT US

Mallory O’Brien,
FNP-C
Mallory is a Georgia native, living in Douglas for 13 years, and has over 15 years of health care experience in various settings and roles as well as a background in Sports Medicine. She first graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. She worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer and taught physical education until deciding to pursue a degree in nursing. After having her first child, she returned to Valdosta State University and completed an accelerated Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. During this time, she found a passion for surgery and worked at South Georgia Medical Center (SGMC) Operating Room for the next five years. While working at SGMC, she welcomed her second child, completed her Master of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2016, she returned to her hometown as a Nurse Practitioner and has been working in Internal Medicine with Dr. Conrad Harper since that time providing comprehensive medical care to her beloved patients.
She has always enjoyed helping people feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable in their own skin. Mallory states, “making others feel their best is where I find my own true happiness.” She decided to combine her medical expertise with aesthetic medicine to further help others love the skin they’re in, and at GLOW Aesthetics, that is her focus.
In her spare time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is married to Jay O’Brien, a native of Douglas, Georgia. They share two sons, Brody and Cameron. Mallory loves to spend as much quality time with her boys as possible. She gives all credit to her “boys” for her motivation to pursue her dreams, with an emphasis on her husband. Not only does he support her in all her endeavors, but he is the one pushing her to make her dreams a reality. In 2020, he left his career as a Certified Athletic Trainer to become Practice Administrator for D. Conrad Harper, M.D., LLC, and is co-owner of GLOW Aesthetics. Together, they are looking forward to continuing to provide quality care to the residents of Douglas and all surrounding communities.
